On the morning of July 2, the Meeting to Advance the Evaluation of China-Foreign Cooperative Education and the Certification of Education Quality for International Students was held at No. 6 conference room of YRCTI’s Administration Building. YRCTI’s leaders Jian Haoran and Zhu Huanli attended the meeting, along with heads of relevant functional departments and teaching units.

Ji Yao, Director of the Liaison and Cooperation Department, introduced the background and significance of this evaluation and certification work, as well as the basic situation of YRCTI’s China-foreign cooperative education and education for international students. Following this, the heads of the Liaison and Cooperation Department and the School of International Education respectively explained the implementation plan of the evaluation and certification and provided detailed explanations on the work content, methods and steps, division of responsibilities, and timelines.

YRCTI’s Vice President Zhu Huanli emphasized that the evaluation and certification work is a test and summary of YRCTI’s previous international education efforts and has significant implications for advancing YRCTI’s internationalization in depth. He also pointed out that relevant departments and units should fully recognize the importance of this evaluation and certification, further enhance the sense of responsibility and mission, and take this opportunity to comprehensively review YRCTI’s international development strategy, identify issues, and address any shortcomings.

YRCTI’s Vice President Jian Haoran put forward specific requirements for three tasks: Firstly, place great emphasis. China-foreign cooperative education and education for international students are essential components of YRCTI’s internationalization efforts, and all departments must carefully review each criterion and comprehensively collect and organize supporting materials; secondly, perform well work division and cooperation. Relevant departments must make coordination and cooperation, optimize mechanisms, standardize procedures, and ensure thorough implementation; thirdly, focus on quality. All departments must ensure that the evaluation and certification work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, focus on the expansion and application of outcomes, and promote development, improvement, management, and enhancement through evaluation, to drive the high-quality development of YRCTI’s education internationalization.
