   Northwestern Michigan College

Northwestern Michigan College (NMC), founded in 1951, on lake Michigan on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, is a comprehensive public community college that offers bachelor degree, associate degrees and related professional qualifications. NMC is accredited by the Council on Higher Education and is fully subsidized by Michigan state budget, local property taxes and tuition fees.
