A special four-member research group headed by Wang Yu’an, Dean of the Institute of International Education, Xinxiang Medical University was sent by the Education Department of Henan Province to carry out a special research on the work of international students' studying in YRCTI on the afternoon of June 26. Deputy President Jian Haoran, relevant principals of Liaison and Cooperation Department, the School of International Education, the School of Water Conservancy Engineering, the School of Civil and Traffic Engineering as well as representatives of teachers and international students attended the research report meeting.

Jian Haoran extended warm welcome to the research experts on behalf of YRCTI and introduced the university’s history, characteristics, development and achievements in internationalization of education. He hoped that the expert group could provide more valuable opinions and suggestions for the better development of YRCTI’s international education program. Wang Yu’an, Leader of the research group introduced the background, purpose, content and work requirements of the Department of Education in detail. Li Jibin made a report to the expert group on the development plan and current situation, enrollment management, on-campus management and existing problems of relevant program. After the report, the research group exchanged views with teachers and representatives of international students and reviewed the relevant materials on YRCTI's work regarding education for international students. The research group affirmed the achievements of our university and put forward specific guidance.

After the meeting, the research group participated in the class for international students and visited the Chinese cultural experience center, specialty-specific training bases and apartment for international students in YRCTI.
