On the afternoon of June 23, the 2020 Mid-year Symposium on "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project" was held and chaired by Yu Yougen, Director of the Vocational Education and Training Department of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). Director Li Jibin and Deputy Director Ji Yao of the Liaison and Cooperation Department attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhang Junqing, Principal in Charge of the "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project" of CEAIE, gave a brief introduction to the project and invited representatives of existing members and newly-added university members to make speeches.

Li Jibin introduced YRCTI's achievements in the internationalization of education from four aspects: international exchange, Sino-foreign cooperative education, overseas schools, and foreign student training. Firstly, relying on international exchange platforms, YRCTI has established cooperative relationships with 55 universities and institutions in 28 countries for teachers' and students' exchanges and mutual learning through multiple approaches and forms. Secondly, YRCTI gives full play to its featured disciplines to train more than 480 overseas students from 31 countries through university-enterprise cooperation. Thirdly, YRCTI brings in and makes full use of the high-quality overseas educational resources, and has launched 7 cooperative educational programs with Russian and American universities, with more than 1,000 students. Fourthly, in line with the "going global" strategy regarding hydropower enterprises, YRCTI sets up Dayu Schools abroad through university-enterprise cooperation to train technical personnel with water conservancy and hydropower skills needed by the BRI countries. He said that in the future, YRCTI will make greater efforts to build 1+N Dayu Schools in China and abroad, and make it an international brand of Chinese vocational education. YRCTI will continue to improve its internationalization of education.

The "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project" was established and implemented by CEAIE in 2013 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Adhering to the principle of "self-oriented, mutual respect, mutual benefit and win-win result", it aims to boost the improvement of professional ability of China's high-level vocational colleges and universities, and cultivate skilled, applied, knowledgeable and innovative talents needed in key areas for economic and social development.
