Second Batch of Teachers from Yellow River Conservancy Technical Institute Went to Teach in Zambia Dayu School

The second batch of teachers from YRCTI went to Zambia Dayu School on November 3 to carry out the teaching work for half a year. The three teachers, including Li Bing from School of Mechanical Engineering, Li Jie from School of Electrical Engineering and Chen Hui from School of Surveying and Mapping Engineering, will be responsible for the teaching of welding, electrician and measurement.

YRCTI held a meeting among the second batch of teachers to Zambia Dayu School. Vice President Jian Haoran expressed his gratitude to the three teachers for their dedication and put forward earnest hope for their teaching work. Li Jibin, Director of Liaison and Cooperation Department stressed the discipline of foreign affairs and entry-exit precautions. Teachers solemnly expressed that they would overcome the difficulties, unite as one, and live up to the expectations of YRCTI and Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd. to successfully complete the second phase of teaching work.

Before, three teachers, the first batch of YRCTI, had completed the training task successfully and returned to China. In this training, threes majors had been established, including hydraulic test, measurement and welding, and 44 Zambia students have been enrolled. Professional teachers of YRCTI, including Lian Meng, Zhang Hongxiang and Zhang Di, formed a teaching team with the engineers of Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd., integrating the necessary professional knowledge and post skills of local employees of Zambia Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower station project into talents training program. According to the knowledge base and personality characteristics of the students, they carried out theoretical teaching and organized practical teaching in the production line, so as to realize a high degree of connection between talent training and production needs. In addition to undertaking teaching tasks, the three teachers also worked overtime to compile a number of school management and teaching systems, professional teaching plans in English, teaching texts and teaching materials. Their high sense of responsibility, rigorous work attitude, solid professional skills and excellent English teaching ability have been highly recognized by enterprises and students. At the end of the training, the first batch of students graduated and were employed by Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd.
